Top 5 Rustic Fall Wedding Color Combos Ideas
Here we finally enter the official month of fall!
So we all know that rustic weddings are huge right now and while some critics believe the look is dead and buried other creative folk are reinventing the look with some refreshing new color palettes that take the look to a whole new level. With a splash of imagination and flare we’re certain that you’ll find a palette perfect for your new rustic look. Here are some of our suggestions to help lead you in the right direction.
Cranberry & Gray Blue
These two colors work splendid together because of the obvious contrast in hues. Wintery grey blues are gorgeous for winter, but team them up with a warm cranberry and you’ve got a lush palette for autumn too. Our top tip for using these colors is a bridesmaid in grey with a gorgeous pop of cranberry red flower bouquets.
Shades of Apricot
Fresh juicy shades of apricot are one of the hottest looks for any rustic wedding right now! This color theme works perfectly for late summer and early autumn venues. Select original orangey apricots and vintage rust apricot with a muted barely there pinky apricot and a few shades darker to really work the look. As we all know orange and green are opposites on the color spectrum and work beautifully together, opt for a natural sage green, which you should find easily in your outdoor rustic wedding venue.
Burlap & Coral
Burlap is making a mega comeback and is very much the fabric to be had at the moment! Mix coral and pinky blush colors with burlap and wham, you’ve got yourself a stunning color palette that will be difficult to beat! Don’t be afraid to experiment with watered down tones of color and keep the actual burlap to a minimum by replacing it with a similar color in other mediums.

Steel Blue & Gray
An unexpected color combo for rustic venues but we guarantee that with a little splash of granite grey and a large wooden oak table, you’re heart will be pounding and your creative juices will be running wild. These colors are perfect for winter seasons and with that dash of grey, the earthy tones make this palette a winner for autumn too.
Bronze & Chocolate
An obvious choice for rustic weddings, but we’ve found some new exciting and refreshing looks that will make you eager to experiment with. These warm rich earthy colors are great winter warmers and will work beautifully with a rustic style wedding. Get glammed up with a formal vintage take on rustic and don’t be afraid to DIY with some gold leaf to achieve the look you want.
So ladies what’s your verdict? Is the look unrevivable or are these new palettes a must? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
